147 vehicles impounded in Oct

Islamabad: The Islamabad Police, during general holdup in the month of October, shifted 147 vehicles and 729 motorcycles to different police stations, which after verification, were handed over to their real owners.

Out of these, 10 vehicles and 16 motorcycles were found tampered with against which cases have been registered in different police stations and 125 tinted glasses were removed from vehicles, a spokesman said on Wednesday.

Besides this, more than 15 suspects were arrested due to their alleged involvement in keeping illegal weapons and drug-pushing.
