Take Your Health, Confidence And Focus To The Next Level

Right now, I'm drinking an iced America at planet Starbucks. It is the day after Christmas, I am surrounded by people, old and young, tired and busy, happy or sad, people people everywhere. On this day, I want to share 3 tips that when implemented in my life yielded tremendous returns as seen in my health, ability to focus and self- confidence.

To begin, follow me on this meditation. Walking in a winter wonderland, snowflakes falling on your nose as the fresh air breathes a new life force into your soul. Miraculously, you allow your thoughts and words to set sail, to fly like an Eagle, into a vast open space. Every step you take increases your awareness as you free yourself from the mental limitations created by your own thoughts patterns and daily habits.

In this winter wonderland, take a deep breathe and give yourself one minute to escape the business in your daily schedule. As you do, picture your power animal. Are you a black swan, or an ugly duckling? Are you a cheetah, or a polar bear? A butterfly, or a caterpillar spreading your wings preparing to fly?

In April 2008, the true beginning to my spiritual journey to empower myself, discover my real identity, and unlock my true potential to live my dream life I was a Chihuahua. A tiny Chihuahua timid, fearful, shy, weak. Sitting comfortably on the sidelines, happy to accept everything people gave me because I did not have the will power to say "No." Falsely believing, that to be a successful person I had to accept everything from others. Everything including things, opinions, thoughts, suggestions. The trouble is, I took every and anything on board. I let my body, my life, my mind, my soul, my physical space -down right to the food and drinks I consumed, be dictated according to another's idea of what is the best for me. If this sounds tragic I promise you it has been. And so, to start my personal walk in a winter wonderland to unleash the true animal within I first moved to South Korea. The first thing I did to fill my glass with clean water was to move away from all Western influence. "Ask and ye shall receive." I lived in a small village named Goreyeong in southern South Korea. For five months, give or take, I did not have any Western interactions. This proved very challenging indeed. Good thing is, I had to learn Korean to communicate, and I literally hit the ground running as there was no time to delay. I knew very little about South Korea yet I made the most of each experience believing deep inside that all's well that ends well. I learned to speak conversational Korean. Substituting my "Hello. How are you?" with "Annyeong Haseyo" with a slight bow. Ordering at a restaurant with "Igeo juseyo" (this please) and "Geugeo juseyo" (that please). Eating meals with my Korean friends and at restaurants whose menu's had pictures became my instant favorites.

Funny thing is, in the beginning things changed very quickly. Although I did not notice any of the subtle changes in my manners and thoughts, I was changing. After my first very cold winter in South Korea, and skiing at Yong Pyong Ski Resort near Seoul for my 26th birthday, my power animal changed gradually and then, suddenly. I grew from a Chihuahua into a Puma. And, the beautiful thing is you can too.
dhad4x.jpg#1: To Improve Health Consume & Digest Only What You Want.
Stop listening to everything, stop reading and watching the news. See your mind as a glass of water, the liquid inside is meant to be clear but if you fill it wish rubbish it becomes muddy. If your mind is not right, then your thoughts and actions become dirty, haste and thoughtless.
#2: To Increase Focus, Strengthen the Voice Within.
You have the most power and influence over your thoughts, actions toward yourself and others. Follow the Golden Rule: Do onto others as you would have them to do onto you. Add 1 more step, Be Your Own Best Friend. Trust Your Intuition. Focus On Yourself.
#3: To Increase Confidence, Read & Re-Read The Self-Confidence Formula.
Reading and re-reading the Self-Confidence Formula at the start and the end of your day, helps change your subconscious mind. The Self-Confidence Formula, written by Napoleon Hill in "The Law of Success" works by healing the emotional and psychological scars which keep you and me living as a drone, sleep-walker, like a lost sheep looking for a shepherd to follow. The open lines are, "I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose. Therefore, I demand of myself persistent, aggressive and continuous action toward its attainment. I realize that the dominating thoughts in my mind, eventually, reproduce themselves in outward bodily action and gradually transform themselves into physical reality." And so, it is.

Listen, improving your health, and increasing your focus and self-confidence is not easy. But, following through on small daily activities to improve your self-talk has tremendous benefits in the long run. Once I started living consciously it was great for my mental state. I invite you to like, share and comment on this post. See you tomorrow.
